CHAPTER ONE
Introduction
Qu’est que le métissage ? Le métissage vient du mot métis, un mot latin (mixtus) qui signifie mélange. Le métissage est une idée de XIXe siècle dont l’équivalence en anglais est celle d’hybridité (hybridity).
Selon le petit Larousse (2009) : le métissage est le croisement des animaux de la même espèce mais de race différentes destiné a créer au bout de quelques générations une race aux caractéristiques intermédiaires.
Le métissage da la langue française est donc le contact des langues maternelles avec la langue française. On peut aussi le voir comme une interférence linguistique des langues Connues avec la langue française. Normalement, le métissage d’une langue donne naissance a deux phénomènes essentiels, le métissage de la langue étrangère (le francais) et le métissage de la langue maternelle (la langue locale). Dans ce travail, nous allons faire une étude comparée du métissage de la langue française en Cote d’ivoire et au Nigeria.
omme les langues africaines, le français subit une transformation fluctuante qui veut devenir stable comme le créole en Haïti, c’est l’une des raisons pour les quelles il est impossible de parler d’une forme unique du français dans les pays francophones mais plutôt des diverses formes du français qui naissent avec les locuteurs de nombreuses langues d’un même pays.
Il peut donc y avoir plusieurs formes concurrentes. Cette grande variété du français dans ces pays ne facilitent pas une forme unique du français et c’est cette différente manière de parler la langue française qui nous donne la naissance des diverses formes de la langue française en Afrique et c’est pourquoi chaque pays francophone a sa forme du francais métissé.
Ce qui nous a motivé à choisir ce sujet c’est la grande différente dont nous avons trouvé avec le français parlé par les étudiants nigérians et certains ivoiriens qui sont aussi des étudiants pendants nos séjours linguistiques au village français du Nigeria en 2010. Puis nous avons aussi constaté que beaucoup d’auteurs ivoiriens utilisent le français métissé dans leurs œuvres. E g Allah n’est pas obligé d’Amadou Kourouma.
Dans le cadre de ce travail, nous allons étudier le métissage de la langue française en Cote d’Ivoire et au Nigeria avec des exemples. Puis, nous essayons de relever les raisons et facteurs du métissage de la langue française des deux pays. En fin, nous allons faire une étude comparée du francais métissé en Côte d’Ivoire et au Nigeria.
