HISTOPATHOLOGICAL EFFECT OF NEEM AZADIRACHTA (DOGOYORA) LEAF ON THE STOMACH OF WISTAR RATS
ABSTRACT
Dogoyaro leaf is an herb known to have numerous health benefits and has been used for beauty regimes for thousands of years now. The study examines the Histopathological Effect of Neem Azadirachta (Dogoyora) Leaf on the Stomach of Wistar Rats. In achieving this aim, the following objectives were set out to; determine the effects of Neem azadirachta (dogoyora) Leaf in wistar rat, provide information relating to the Special Precautions & Warnings of Neem Seeds, and determine the uses, function, benefit, and effectiveness of Neem Leaf. Neem leaves are well known not only for its medicinal properties but also for taking care of the environment. Investigation revealed the problems of the Histopathological Effect of Neem Azadirachta (Dogoyora) Leaf on the Stomach of Wistar Rats research work; a lot of wistar rat has stomach issues as a result of dogoyaro (Neem) leaf intake, and insufficient information of Neem leaf usage. The study will help provide information for curing acne which will serve as a reference material for Doctors, Nurse, and pharmacist. Besides, the study will serve as reference material for subsequent researcher in the field or related topics.

1.1 Introduction
According to Pmnewsnigeria (2021), Neem leaves popularly known as “Dogoyaro” leaves in Nigeria also known as ‘Wonder leaves’, is a herb known to have numerous health benefits and has been used for beauty regimes for thousands of years now. Neem leaves are well known not only for its medicinal properties but also for taking care of the environment (Pmnewsnigeria, 2021).
Neem contains an essential ingredient in many Ayurveda medicines. It contains nimbin, nimbinen, nimbolide, nimandial, ninbinene and other beneficial compounds that have anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory agents. Gedunin and nimbidol found in the leaves of neem are powerful antifungal agents that destroy fungi which cause athlete foot, ringworm and nail fungus (Pmnewsnigeria, 2021).
Amongst other things, Neem leaf is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems (Pmnewsnigeria, 2021).
As a prelude to other parts of this study, this chapter will discuss the background upon which this study was initiated, the statement of problems that led to this study, the Aim and Objectives of the study. Others are Significance of the study, Scope of work, Limitations of the Study and Definition of technical terms.
