DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ROUTE SAVER SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
Route Saver System is an application software that enables a user to save tracks from one point to another destination. Saving an individual's current route will be one of the most important functions of future mobile computing environments. The aim of the study is to Design and Implement a Route Saver System. In achieving this aim, the following specific objectives were laid out as follows to design and develop an application software that will ease the difficulty in locating the route passed to an individual's actual destination and inculcate an offline route saver system that will eradicate the issue of poor signal coverage and internet connection in remote areas. The motivation for embarking on the proposed system is that a lot of people encounter difficulty in locating the route passed to an individual's actual destination, saving routes in remote places is usually difficult as a result of poor signal coverage and internet connection. and the manual route saver system is time consuming and lacks sufficient storage capacity. The methodology adopted in this study is the structured system analysis and design methodology (SSADM) which is a technical approach for analyzing and designing an application or system by applying object throughout the software development process. The programming language used is HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, SQL and JQUERY. The reason why web programming languages was used is because, it is platform independent and it is a web based application. This study will be of immense benefit to farmers, students, travelers and other researchers who intend to know more on this study and can also be used by non-researchers to build more on their research work. The expected result is an computerized Route Saver System that will provide sufficient storage capacity for saving route accurately and timely, and the system will determine the shortest path to take from the saved routes.
CHAPTER ONE
1.1 Introduction
Route Saver System is an application software that enables a user to save tracks from one point to another destination. Saving an individual's current route will be one of the most important functions of future mobile computing environments. Route-awareness is a key issue for mobile, ubiquitous and handheld computing and many people expect a high potential of route-based services such as city guides or navigation systems for mobile commerce scenarios. Mobile technology has really accelerate in terms of it advancement to the extent that it has limitlessly left mobile application developers with no choice but to continue in it manipulation of its usefulness over and over (Leng, 2011). The primary goal of our approach is to provide uniform route information, which is independent from the actual positioning system.
As a prelude to other parts of this study, this chapter will discuss the background upon which this study was initiated, the statement of problems that led to this study, the Aim and Objectives of the study. Others are Significance of the study, Scope of work, Limitations of the Study and Definition of technical terms.

Yes it can be used — The only profession that is committed to transmitting knowledge to any level is the teaching profession. It is one of many professions that specifically deals with the growth and development of the human mind. The type of information fed into the human mind and the methodology in which the information is communicated has enough impact on the development of the human mind. This peculiar kind of human-related job carried out by teachers requires competency and competency can only be achieved through consistent training and continuous practice. This is the case of teaching practice. This study was undertaken to appraise the impact of teaching practices on the productivity of quality teachers and sound students. The specific objectives were to find out the …
Can the material for “Sensory and Production Evaluation of Composite Jam Produced from four Different Tropical Fruits” be used as a guide for Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) Project?
Yes it can be used — Jam is a mixture of fruit (Apple, Pineapple, Orange and Banana) boiled with sugar and allowed to congeal. It is often spread on bread, biscuit and ice-cream. The aim of the study is to determine the Production process of jam from Apple, Pineapple, Orange and Banana. In achieving this aim, the following specific objectives were laid out to produce composite jam using four different tropical fruit; Apple, Pineapple, Orange and Banana, and evaluate the general acceptability of composite jam. Fruits are difficult to keep for a considerable length of time, thus ripe fruits are utilized either as fresh fruit or processed into jam and other types of products. Most fruits are perishable in their natural state after harvest; deterioration sets …
Is the topic “Design and Implementation of Academic Transcript Management System” recommended for Computer Science (CS) Project?
Yes it is highly recommended — Students’ transcript is the summary of each of the two-year performance either in (OND) ordinary National Diploma or (HND) higher national diploma. The aim of this study is to design and implement an Academic Transcript Management System. In achieving this aim, the following specific objectives were laid out as follows to design and develop an application software that will record and reports of students will be easily retrieved with increased data security, and reduce in the amount of resources, which in turn will lower the cost of processing of student’s transcripts, since information will be stored in a database with reduced data Redundancy. The motivation that led to the implementation of the proposed system is as a result of the …

The researcher reviewed the related literature on the role of capital in the growth of small scale business. From the analysis of data collected by the researcher, it was discovered that high interest loan, mismanagement of capital and unreliable of source of capital were the problems militating against small scale businesses. This study also revealed the important of small scale business …
Can the material for “The Effects of Teacher Training on Teacher Value-Added” be used as a guide for Education Project?
Yes it can be used — We study the effects of various types of education and training on teacher productivity. Previous studies on the subject have been hampered by inadequate measures of teacher training and difficulties addressing the non-random selection of teachers to students and of teachers to training. We address all of these limitations by estimating models with student, teacher, and school fixed effects using an extensive database from the state of Florida. Our results suggest that teacher training generally has little influence on productivity. One exception is that content-focused teacher professional development is positively associated with productivity in middle and high school math. In addition, more experienced teachers appear more effective in teaching elementary and middle school reading. There is no evidence that either pre-service …
