PROGRAM RESULT CHECKER
ABSTRACT
Program result checking is a system that checks program source code or programming assignments. The major problems regarding the Program Result Checker using web based programming language such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as a case study which include: delays in the release of results which is as a result of syntax error, logical error, or semantic error, errors inherent in handling and assessment of source code program, and cumbersome response systems. The aim of the study is to design application software that will totally or partially eradicate the problems of the existing Program Result Checker system. In achieving this aim, the following objectives were considered to: develop a software that will facilitate the early release of program results, handle error driven programs, ease code and compress source code program for efficient execution of an application program, and handle cumbersome response and result-related complaints. The methodology adopted in this study is the structure system analysis and design methodology (SSADM) which is a technical approach for analyzing and designing an application or system by applying object oriented programming as well as visual modeling throughout the software development. The programming language used is HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, SQL and JQUERY. The reason why web programming languages was used is because, it is platform independent and it is a web based application. This system when completed and implemented it will help provide adequate information about program result, and will be beneficial to individuals such as students by providing accurate and complete program result for ease of coding ability of the end user.
CHAPTER ONE
1.1 Introduction
Program result checking is a system that checks program source code or programming assignments. The aim of computer programming is to put these data files and documents in an interactive manner in a computer system. This will enhance valuable handling and processing of data, leading to improved management decision making.
As a prelude to other parts of this study, this chapter will discuss the background upon which this study was initiated, the statement of problems that led to this study, the Aim and Objectives of the study. Others are Significance of the study, Scope of work, Limitations of the Study and Definition of technical terms.
1.2 Background Of The Study
According to Springer (2021), program result checking is concerned with designing programs to check their work. For example, after solving an equation for x, a result-checking program would substitute x back into the equation to make sure that the answer obtained is correct. There are many ways to check results, but there has been no theory to say what constitutes a good check. It is not a good check, for example, to redo a computation without change a second time. Such recompilation may uncover an intermittent hardware fault, but it will not uncover a software fault, and the discovery and elimination of software faults is the principal goal of this work (springer, 2021).
It seems quite a safe bet to assert that the Internet and mobile Communication have had a preponderant influence on the way the world relates today. On the other hand, education remains a sine qua non fact of life for the overwhelming majority of human society In Nigeria; the educational sector has experienced marked changes as a result of the introduction of internet-based services. In one case, results for the UTME (Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination) are now processed and released within days of the examination being written, an ever-increasing number of universities are employing the Internet to deliver a widening range of information and support services, covering such areas as admissions, student registration, examination records, and distance learning. This work is an attempt at delivering an online system capable of delivering examination results on demand, using the University of Calabar as case study. This application will also provide capability to assist students; lecturers and administrative personnel interact in resolving any result-related complaints.
1.3 Statement Of The Problem
The major problems regarding the program result checker using web based programming language such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as a case study which include:
- Delays in the release of results which is as a result of syntax error, logical error, or semantic error;
- Errors inherent in handling and assessment of source code program;
- Cumbersome response systems − where they exist − for handling result-related complaints in an application source code of the existing system.
1.4 Aim and Objectives Of The Study
The aim of the study is to design a software that will check the result of programming assignment and evaluate the output. In achieving this aim, the following objectives were considered:
- To develop a software that will facilitate the early release of program results;
- To develop a software that will assess different procedures followed by the students in carrying out their programming assignment.
1.5 Significance of Study
The following are the importance of the program result checker research work;
- This system when completed and implemented it will help provide adequate information about program result.
- This project will be beneficial to individuals such as students by providing accurate and complete program result for ease of coding ability of the end user.
- Besides, the study will serve as reference material for subsequent researcher in the field or related topics.
1.6 Scope Of The Study
This study focuses on the design and implementation of program result checker using web based programming language such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as a case study.
1.7 Limitation Of Study
During the course of this study, many things militated against its completion, some of which are:
- Research material: availability of research material is a major setback to the scope of the study.
- Frequent power failure: This made the researcher append more money on fuel to ensure sustainable power.
1.8 Definition Of Terms
Beta testing: Testing carried out on software independent of its manufacturer by external users
Internet application: A Web site with dynamic, i.e. data-source oriented user-specific, content, which usually requires some form of user authentication.
Software: These are set of logically related instructions given to the computer to perform some specific tasks.
Mobile device: Any device with the functionality for information management and transfer free from spatial and temporal constraints. Such devices include mobile phones, smart phones, PDAs (personal digital assistants), tablets and readers, among others.

Can this topic “Development of a Gas Condensate Reservoir” be used for Petroleum Engineering Project?
Yes it can be utilized for research — Gas condensate reservoirs are single phase at the initial condition. It changes to multiphase when the reservoir conditions are located between the critical point and the cricondentherm of the reservoir in the phase envelope. This makes it unique to providing a reliable source of energy for human usage. The objective of this study is to use a 3D compositional model of the Niger Delta field to evaluate the production of a gas condensate reservoir. This study is integrated into two main segments; the reservoir and fluid pressure, volume and temperature (PVT) model followed by reservoir simulation studies. The simulation involves running several development scenarios using the 3D compositional model of the Niger Delta field to optimize the recovery from the reservoir of …
